School homework 4

Keane Chua, a 10 years old boy and is one of Singapore's yongest painter recently raise over $6000 for charity by selling his work.

I felt so proud for him and a lot of people will surely be proud for him too because his just only 10 years old and he managed to raise over 6 thousand for charity by just only selling his work. Singapore must have a lot of people with talents and I also wish they can use their talents to raise money for the charity and I wish people without talent, could maybe just donate money for charity.

School Homework 3

Singaporean Lo Hwei Yen was killed in a terrorist attack in India's Mumbai and hostage takers gunned down the 28 years old lawyer in Oberoi hotel where she stays while on a work trip there.

I hope more of this event wouldn't happen and it is said that such act of violence will happen in Singapore and other countries too.I just don't understand why there will be terrorist attacks because killing the innocent is not fun or interesting and you will ended up in the jail for a long time as it's counted as murder. I wish that at least lesser terrorist attacks will happen. I also wish that this kind of act(Terrior attack) won't happen in all the countries too.

School homework 1

A crude rocket was fired by Palestinian militants fell short of its target in Israel, striking a house in the northen Gaza Strip and killed two schoolgirls.

I felt sad for both of the schoolgirls' family and I think the Palestinian militants also have to be blame as if they did not shot a crude rocket, the rocket will not fell short of its target and striked the house, killing the two schoolgirls. They should not build a crude rocket but I think they are out of resource of something, so they builded a crude rocket but if Palestian did not shot the rocket, nothing of this would happen.

school homework 2

The singapore flyer had stopped turning for six hours due to a small fire, trapping 173 people on board and because of this problem, people's ride are delayed and people from the other country missed their flight as the people on the ferris wheel is carrying the passport for them

Maybe the community should do something to prevent the problem and enchance passenger safety. If the community did not do something to prevent the problem, people that wanted to ride the ferris wheel will think twice if they wanted to ride the singapore flyer as they fear it might stop again so what the community done will be very important

My 5th compo( A dog chase)

A dog chase

“What a bad day I had!” I fumed with anger. “Firstly, My friends laugh and me for wearing the wrong pants for PE lesson. Secondly, I got a bad result for my practice paper and then I fall into a drain!” I yelled and I picked up a big and long stick on the ground, swinging around Soon, I saw a cute dog walking. I anger on it and picked up a stone and threw at the dog. “Hahaha, look at you!” I laughed. Later, I saw a bigger version of the dog. The eyes were red and yellowish. Without doing anything, it rushed towards me; I froze for a few seconds. Millions of thoughts went through my mind. Is he going to eat me? I turned around and started running as fast as I could. I ran for streets and streets trying to shake it off.

I turned my head rapidly, taking a glance at the dog. “Help! Help!” I screamed, but I heard no response. My chest heaved and panted for breath as I struggled to widen the gap between the dog and I. Although my legs felt like lead, I forced them to carry me forward. I ran into a car park. I wheeled around, trying to shake the dog off. I sat at a corner, grasping for breath. “Finally I shake it off.” I thought but I heard breathing of the dog. I forced myself to stand and I ran. The dog jump and bit my leg. I shook my leg and I dragged my left leg and screamed for help. The dog stood up and bit my leg again. I could not bare the pain and fell onto the ground and the last thing I heard was someone shouting and I became unconscious.

Is this heaven? Why it was so white here? “Son, can you hear me?” I heard a voice. I open my eyes and I saw my mother and my neighbor, John. “Our neighbor brought you here.” My mother told me. I looked at my leg. “Mother, why was my leg bandage?” but my mother remain silence. “Is it broken!?” I gasped. “No.. but its.. its .. Fractured, if you wanted to continue to walk you will need a cast for about a few months before you can walk properly.” My mother told me. I was a loss for words. From that day onwards, I had a phobia of bulldogs or bigger dogs and I leant not to put my anger on something.

My 6th compo

Terrorism

“Jerry, how do you feel being one of the terrorism survivors, can you explain what happened during the terrorism or can you tell us what happened?” a reporter said. “This is what happened.” I replied.

“Bye James!” I said as I aboard the bus. Rain pelted down from skies. “Home sweet home!” I told myself. I was back from a trip to China and my parents told me to go home by myself as my parents was still at work. “My brother will surely like the present I bought for him!” I thought. At the next stop, I saw a man wearing black cloths, black hat and a pair of sunglasses. He was taking a heavy looking suitcase. At the next stop, he alighted the bus, leaving the bag there. “Mister! Your bag!” I yelled. As soon he heard that he rushed out of the bus. Overwhelmed by curiosity, I wanted to open the suitcase but suddenly I remembered something that my teacher taught us that if you see a suspicious bag or suitcase, I should informed the bus driver if I am in a bus. At the next stop, I rush to the bus driver. Telling him about the suitcase. He told everyone to evacuate the bus and call the police. I turned around looking at the bus. Suddenly the bus burst into flame. Ahh! My eyes! I can’t see!” I screamed. Now all I could do was to wait for the ambulance to come. I tried to force open my eyes but the pain was unbearable. Millions of thought went through my mind. Is the bus driver ok? Will I become blind? “I don’t want to be blind!” I murmured. A lady heard me and replied, “You will not be blind, trust me, I’m a paramedic.” Siren filled the air. I could not see but I had a feeling that it was the ambulance and the fire fighters and I was bought to the hospital. I was told that I would be temporarily blind for a few days.

After the reporters went out and a few days later, I went home and the first thing I do was to switch on the television. “A boy saves a lot of people during terrorism,” the reporter said. “I am so proud of you.” My mother said.

This week compo ( Burglary)

Burglary

“What have I done? If I did not let my door open, the burglar would not come in…” I sobbed as I broke into tears. This was what happened.

“Mom, I’m back from school!” I shouted but no one respond. Maybe she had just gone out. I took out my school shoes and put them outside my house. I smelled something was so fragrant that I floated to the where the fragrant come from. I went to the kitchen and saw a note on the oven. The note was written like this “Dear Sam, I had fell down and I thing I broke my bone, I am going to the hospital to check with our neighbor, Miss Tan. I left some noodles in the oven and you don’t need to visit me. From Mum” I froze for a few seconds, numerous thought went through my mind, should I visit mom or should I just stay home? After a few seconds, I decide to stay home since my mother told me not to visit her. I took out the delicious, nice smelling noodles out and started to eat. “Wow, I am so full!” I said and I started to yawn. Maybe I need some sleep. I went to my bed and I fell asleep when the moment my head touch the pillow.

Suddenly, a burglar come into my house, firstly, he saw the photo of my father and mother photos. That must be the master bedroom! He sneaked in and spotted a few jewelries outside a cabinet. I’m rich! He took every thing inside the cabinet including my parents’ wedding ring. Then, he went in my room. “Hehehe, look at how he sleeps!” He laughed softly and took everything that is valuable. When he was going out of my room, he hit a chair. “Ouch! Stupid chair!” he yelled. “Huh? What’s that?” I woke up, seeing him holding firmly with a bag and some jewelries hanging out. “Opps!” he said and ran out of my house. “Burglar! Burglar! I screamed at my top voice. I ran out and continued shouting “Burglar! Burglar!” The policeman patrolling heard my shouts and came up. “What happen?” he asked me, and I replied “One burglar had stole my parents’ jewelries and I can’t find him.” Tears welled up in my eyes. He brought me back to my house and asked me patiently that how come he could come into my house. Out of the blues, I remembered something, “Oh, I think I forgotten to close the door.” I gasped. I told what the burglar look like and the policeman started to find the burglar.

After a few days, the policeman did not find the burglar and told my family and I maybe that he gone to other countries. I got scolded by my parents and was told not to be so careless again and they grounded me for two weeks.

This week compo ( Revenge)

Revenge

I was walking in a dark alley. The alley was so dark that I could barely even see my hands but I had no choice because I was almost late for my tuition and that was the only shortcut to my tuition center. A solitary lamp stood in the middle of the dirty, impure alley and its light flickering every second, I tried humming to myself to keep my fear away.

Suddenly, I felt there was a shadow behind me, I turned back and saw nothing. “Maybe I am just imagining things,” I told myself and shuffled forward to make some sound. Just then I saw the shadow again, but this time it was going closer and closer towards me. I speeded myself, kept on telling myself that I was imagining things, I got scared and turned around. This time, a man was taking a knife trying to stab me. Overcome with fright, I lost my balance and fell down. “Who are you and what are you doing!” I shouted. “I am here to take revenge!” the man replied. What? What was he talking about? Just then, I seem to remember something. I helped the police to catch a wanted criminal. He was too angry for words and he tried to stab me but I threw my bag at him and he stabbed the bag. He threw the bag away and I crawled back until I hit a dead end. “hahaha! No one can save you now!” he said in excitement. Just then a policeman on patrol went pass the alley. I saw him and shouted “Save me! Help!” the policeman turned and saw us and he faster draw out his gun, “Stop right there!” the criminal dropped his knife and turned around. He raised his hands and walked forward. As soon as he walked in front of the policeman, he pushed the policeman and ran. Stop or I shoot you!” The policeman yelled. The criminal ignored the warning and ran as fast he could. Bang! The policeman shot the leg of the criminal, “argh!” he yelled.

The criminal fell on the ground, remaining silence and was bleeding profusely. I stood up and followed behind the policeman. The policeman put the gun back to the poach and walked forward carefully. He immediately called the police and told me to call the ambulance. “Ok..” I said. Soon, the alley was filled with siren and the police took me to the police station and asked me why the wanted criminal was going to kill me. I told them what happen and why he wanted to kill me. After an hour, the police let me go out of the police station and I saw the policeman that saved me “thank you” and went home quietly. Days later, I soon knew that the criminal was dead.
