In My Opinion: I agreed with Mr Lai as the jumpers did not considered anything about their family members and people who concerned about him. They just want people to know about what he had done and the people to help him out of his trouble. I think his action is really stubborn.

What are your thoughts and feelings for what Mr Lai had done? Do you think it is correct? Why or why not? You can also elaborate on why it is stubborn of him to threaten others that he would jump down from the bridge.

i agree that some jumpers did not consider anything about their family but not really all jumpers...
may be to improve u can write more opinion about the news and write like how u feel about the news or what do you think that the jumpers could do. may be you can write like if they encounter problems they can talk to someone like their friends, family or counsellors.

But is Mr Lai's action right? He push that person from the bridge. Do you think he should tell that person to change his mind and don't jump off the person?Do you have any idea to prevent such t hings from happening?
Try elaborating more on why you think it was correct of Mr Lai. Also try to provide more details about what actually had happened in your summary. i also agree with andy because it was just mr lai's side of story. this type of articles is not very good for giving opinions because what actually had happened is not confirmed yet.
I belief u can do better than that. Write, or type more on your opinions, what u want to see/have in future or smth like that
